Brian Skinner, a Southern California Native, was all but born with a plastering trowel in his hands. After working alongside his father who founded Skinner pools in 1948, Brian became a second generation award-winning pool contractor where he ran Skinner Pools for 33 years before retiring to Utah. As a result of his meticulous work and reputation, Skinner pools is still thriving throughout California and is now being operated by a third generation, Kyle Skinner.
Employing over 60 craftsmen, Skinner Pools designs, constructs, remodels, and plasters hundreds of pools annually. They are known for their custom surfaces which include: color, quartz, Hydrazzo, exposed aggregate and glass bead finishes.
Being a driven individual, Brian didn’t stay retired for long as he jumped back into what he loves, building Pools. In 2015, he and his son Ivan founded Singing S Pools Inc. where they specialize in new pool construction and renovations throughout Salt Lake and Utah Counties. Bringing the expertise and traditions to Utah, Singing S Pools Inc. is also known for their custom surfaces which including: color, quartz, Hydrazzo, exposed aggregate and glass bead finishes.
As a result of the booming economy throughout Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming, Brian became a founding member of Liquid Luxury Pools and Spa where he currently serves as their senior advisor and director of operations. Having Brian serve in this capacity is what truly sets Liquid Luxury Pool and Spa apart from any other pool contractor in the regional market.
